Isolation Is Inspiration

Rage 03:57
Spider webs across the plains at night We burn the ancient dead Their black blood freed of metal might Bringing pestilence instead We've been told we have no business here But our fathers lie below We're gonna rage Across the plains tonight Restore them for our own A new age A new age is dawning, gaining light A dark day for our foes Idle threats only work until The threatened match your might And in the end all we have is war Profits made off those who die We've been told we have irrational fears As they shackle us in chains Beaten down in the cold of winter Abandoned without names We're gonna rage Across the plains tonight Restore them for our own A new age A new age is dawning, gaining light A dark day for our foes We got distracted We got distracted We got distracted And we all moved on How many have to die For the good of the few? How many have to die For the good of the mighty? Will you survive Our lust for wealth? Will you survive The great downsizing? We've been told we have irrational fears Until it all comes down in flames A new light across the plains tonight Our four horsemen bringing change We're gonna rage Across the plains tonight Restore them for our own A new age A new age is dawning, gaining light A dark day for our foes We're gonna rage Across the plains tonight Restore them for our own A new age The new guard have held us down too long It's time to deal a killing blow

Paralytic 03:18
Remember days when we were free An open world without the tragedy But now we think we know what's going on And every neighbor is a smoking gun The chief of hate has locked us down again And so we scamper like we're lost children While we swear the sky is falling apart The fear we feel has left us without heart They sell us clicks and they sell us doom Anxiety smothers us inside our rooms The tale they feed us to keep control Eating away at our heart and soul The chief of hate has locked us down again And so we scamper like we're lost children While we swear the sky is falling apart The fear we feel has left us without heart Flooding the internet with fucking lies Authority using them to run our lives We are impotent despite our rage Paralysed and locked inside a cage This is the media See how they're playing ya Fear is the opiate Fear is the pain Fear is the reason We give it away Fear takes control Losing ourselves Shutting it down Personal hell Fear is the media

We're finally breaking out Of this mind control An injection to the soul They finally did enough They finally went too far Frozen in our fear no more We have had enough But that is not enough A need for something more A deadly ritual An ancient prophecy Will shake them to their core Our world is dying now In this shaman's trance We're gonna stand up And take the system down This shining house must fall We're gonna organize In any place or weather We'll charge into the maw In these trying times Armed with unity Your pears won't save your soul Darkness coming down Huddled close together Seems we can fight no more Our world is dying now In this shaman's trance And all that's left for us The Great Ghost Dance We're gonna lose this fight Our ambition beaten down The world's gonna die tonight The shaman's dance will soon begin Our world is dying now In this shaman's trance And all that's left for us The Great Ghost Dance

Crusaders 03:42
Yeah Oh yeh See no other way of living Taught from an early age Bring honor to your family And they'll open up your cage Blindly charge forward now Just like before Where are we going? I don't know But here we go Manufactured blame It's drilled into our heads Our thoughts are taken over We'll leave a trail of dead Blindly charge forward now Just like before Where are we going? I don't know But here we go We call it justice We call it safety They call it empire They call it war We're marching for our freedom We're marching for our lives Defending our churches We'll silence all the lies Blindly charge forward now Just like before Where are we going? I don't know But here we go Headfirst into the pyre Of endless war Burning for justice Sign up for four Yeh, here we go

Unfurled 03:11
Oh, when the rain it clears away What does that mean for me? I feel the sun shine on my face what's the point if I can't see? Been ravaged by the emptiness And left out in the cold Still haunted taunted by that dress And left here all alone And I'm stepping out Into the world My head held high My flag unfurled I'm stepping out Into the world Alone… so alone I step into the emptiness Of where I once held you Our shared time now meaningless I hope you feel this too Wasted time not wasted We both have much to show, but I'm on the road we paved for two And you are here no more And I'm stepping out Into the world My head held high My flag unfurled I'm stepping out Into the world Alone… so alone Oh I… I thought we had a deal Oh I… I thought that this was real Oh I… I thought we had it all Oh I… Oh, I And I'm stepping out Into the world My head held high My flag unfurled I'm stepping out Into the world Alone… so alone

Isolation 03:26
Dust sweeps past my window still Swallow deep, ingest the pill All alone, Checking the view Trembling, waiting for you And were you ever even here at all? Isolated in the dark before the dawn Pondering, in my cell Is this life or is this hell Life floats by in solitude Trembling, waiting for you And were you ever even here at all? Isolated in the dark before the dawn Sobbing, crying, wondering how I'll go on But you'll be back, I swear it As emptiness surrounds I cling to the very thought That you'll come back Somehow And were you ever even here at all? Isolated in the dark before the dawn Sobbing, crying, wondering how I'll go on I grasp for memories of how long you've been gone Were you even here at all?

about

In the post-2016 era, many of us have pulled away from the greater society to focus on smaller things, more pressing issues, and generally band together with those we believe we can trust. Our lives are becoming self-imposed isolation, as we lock ourselves away from others, and we must resist these urges. We must break the hold of fear and hatred that is spreading around us to find the inspiration to move forward.
